Wednesday 10th April 2008

Disney and Pixar have announced that they will be making 8 new 3D movies in the next four years as they try to stretch the boundaries of new 3D technologies.

The line up will include new versions of the popular Toy Story films in 2009 and 2010 and a sequel to the movie Cars in 2012.

The films will require cinema goers to wear a set of glasses allowing them to experience the film in 3D. There are more than 50 cinemas in the UK who have CD capabilities in their screens and this number is expected to rise.

Other films expected to be made include a remark of the classic tale Rapunzel and Bolt the story of a dog who believes he has super powers.
