Cuppa for £50 anyone?!
Thursday 11th April 2008 The department store Peter Jones located in Sloane Square in London this week launched a brand new blend of coffee, which retails at a whopping £50 per cup.
The coffee contains a unique blend of animal droppings named Kopi Luwak. The beans are formed when they are eaten and then passed by the Asian palm civet. The sell alone for £324 a kilogram and have been blended with Jamaican Blue Mountain to create the new Caffe Raro believed to be the most expensive coffee in the world.
The department store have stated that all profits from the sale of the coffee will be donated to Macmillan Cancer Support.
The coffee is available now for anyone who is brave enough to try the concoction!
