So, who am I that I think I can spout off on here and give me two peneth worth on every issue going?!! Well, here are the basics!

Marital Status: Single and dating (recently spilt with long term puppy stealing fiancé)

Born: UK, brought up in New York, been back in the UK since uni
Profession: Resident Know it All
Hobbies: Shopping, reading, writing, kickboxing, baking cakes (surprisingly!), singing, football, (yes really, I have a season ticket and even understand the offside rule), making cocktails, going to the theatre, swimming, eating out, staying up late and sleeping in, dancing, photography (ie, I have a camera), travelling and musicals.

Favourite Films: Dirty Dancing (I’m just an old romantic at heart!), Kiss Me Kate, Breakfast at Tiffany’s, Some Like It Hot, Gone with the Wind, Singing In The Rain, The Wizard Of Oz and anything by Disney. Funnily enough I had a tipsy debate in the pub with some friends the other day about which Disney film is the best – one of my male friends piped up (after a few beers) I think Robin Hood is the best – you know all the scenes with the female fox Maid Marion? Well, the bloke who drew them must have really been in love you know? That’s what it’s all about isn’t it – he was definitely happy with his woman’ – I swooned – someone marry that man!!
Favourite Books: Anything by Kate Thompson she is a genius but especially It Means Mischief and More Mischief (the old ones are the best). Wuthering Heights was my A-Level text and will stay with me forever (did you know it contains the most famous semi-colon in the history of English literature?!) and I love the poetry of William Blake. I am also a huge Shakespeare fan – yes I know how highbrow!! Othello is one of my favourites

Worst Chat Up Line Ever Used: ‘Excuse me, I'm a little short on cash, would you mind if we shared a cab home’ - I say worst but it worked !!
What Do I Like To Watch?: Spooks is my current favourite show – that man is delicious, how much would you want him to come and save you from a national security threat?! I am also a sucker for Eastenders and am slightly obsessed with Grey’s Anatomy – why can’t they just get together?!! Mostly though I can be found watching old reruns of comedy classics; Friends, Ally Mcbeal, Sex and The City, Curb your Enthusiasm, as well as classic brit comedy such as The Mighty Boosh, The League of Gentlemen and Spaced.
What Do I Like To Eat?: Ice cream – really expensive, creamy, full fat ice cream! Plus anything else I can get my hands on really! I went for years thinking seafood was yuck but its now one of my favourite things. Tomatoes scare me and mushrooms make me feel a bit sick but other than that I’ll eat pretty much anything!
What will I Be Doing Tonight?: This evening I will be going for dinner with my latest Beau, he is very nice and very handsome! I have some new earrings that I’m hoping will dazzle him and am planning to have pasta!! Wish me luck!
